Location: Shared Time: Atrium NYC or Central NJ Office, travel required

Position Overview: Thanks to outstanding service and a trusted commitment to innovation, Atrium seeks a new Corporate Communications Manager to passionately drive various business initiatives by:

Collaborating with cross-functional Atrium leaders and subject matter experts

  • Executive, marketing, technology innovation and operations teams

Developing thoughtful, compelling content derived from Atrium expertise and case studies

  • Seek to derive relevant Atrium experience or improve case studies
  • Leverage the Atrium brand/voice across mediums to present a holistic service portfolio offering 
  • Emphasis on new business proposals, presentations, editorial, white papers, client awards and other industry channels 
  • Evolve corporate narrative and executive summary

Co-marketing with established Atrium best-in-class technology partners, such as:

  • ADP/WorkMarket, Ascendify, Kalo and Lasso Freelancer Management Systems (FMS) 
  • PeopleFluent, Beeline, Fieldglass Vendor Management Systems (VMS) 
  • Note: 7+ years proposal writing experience within HR services preferred

Responsibilities of the Corporate Communications Manager:

Corporate Communications:
Manage and submit multiple proposals and business presentations simultaneously

  • Traffic and advance proposal production, adhere to agreed timetables 
  • Ensure accurate documentation and deadlines are met 
  • Support Atrium executives with letters, client awards/nominations, campaigns, press releases, media outreach, etc.

Pursue business opportunities with Atrium prospects and existing clients

  • Partner with account leads to host creative brainstorms 
  • Develop communications plans to further client opportunities

Act as primary resource for executive level commentary and industry-oriented editorial

  • Work closely with Atrium marketing and PR teams 
  • Help create Executive Letters, Client Awards and Nominations, Campaigns, Press Releases and Media Outreach

Proposal Writing:
Traffic and manage all Atrium proposals to completion (RFP/RFQ/RFIs)

  • Facilitate all aspects of proposal project management, including assessment with Atrium new business team, template creation, task assignment, status calls, scheduling, review sessions, final formatting and delivery
  • Synthesize information from a variety of internal/external resources; tailor proposals to respond to specific evaluation criteria and requirement
  • Craft responses utilizing both Atrium proposal library and new, inspired narratives to customize each proposal
  • Coordinate contributors across the organization for response collaboration, solution pricing or other required proposal content

Stay up-to-date on Atrium solutions, products and messaging 

  • Work closely with Atrium Business Development and Innovation teams to learn and clearly position competitive advantages
  • Partner with Atrium Marketing team to optimize appearance of communications documents and ensure brand consistency

Maintain organized, strategic database for constant proposal improvement

Qualifications for the Corporate Communications Manager :

  • 7+ years of proposal management experience; Contingent Workforce Solutions industry preferred 
  • Superior writing, editing and verbal communications skills; strong attention to detail a must 
  • Proven technical writing skills with a track record of creating effective, clear and concise documents 
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage several proposals simultaneously in a high-volume, fast-paced environment 
  • Experience and comfort in engaging cross-organizational departments 
  • Microsoft Office proficiency; must be comfortable using Word, PowerPoint and Excel 
  • Experience with online proposal software highly preferred, such as Ariba, Scout, etc. 
  • A passion and willingness to roll-up your sleeves and get things done
  • Relevant writing samples must be submitted along with resume
