Our client is a leader in the aviation industry providing aviation support to over 200 locations throughout the world. With corporate offices in Orlando, FL, our client is one of the area’s largest employers. They are looking to add a Credit and Collections Manager to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90k – $100k + bonus

Position Overview:

The Credit and Collections Manager will lead the Collections team across global regions to ensure processes are delivered effectively while designing and implementing best practices and ensuring standardized collections procedures are followed.

Responsibilities of the Credit and Collections Manager:

  • Managing a team of 15+ collections professionals including members of the Collections Supervisory teams
  • Approving credit recommendations provided to business units and any adjustments to credit limits
  • Performing and reviewing bad debt calculations
  • Developing and implementing appropriate collections policies to maintain current AR and minimize bad debt write-off
  • Engaging in direct dialog with customer-level contacts to resolve collections issues
  • Performing credit risk analysis and collaborating with the Sales and Operations organization to minimize credit risk
  • Effectively coaching, giving performance feedback, and providing development opportunities within the department

Qualifications of the Credit and Collections Manager:

  • Five years of related experience
  • Prior experience in B2B collections
  • Global collections is highly preferred
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration/Management, or another related field
