Our client, a fast-growing exciting tech startup, is looking for a Customer Experience Specialist to join their team. They are located in downtown Manhattan, and have a beautiful view of the city. They are looking for someone passionate, enthusiastic, and a self-starter who is very customer-service oriented and friendly.

Position Overview: The Customer Experience Specialist role is an “Overnight” shift – it has a 2 week rotating schedule.

  • One week you would be working 12am-9am (working from home)
  • One week would be a flexible schedule of your choice (9-6, 11-8, etc) – working in the office

Responsibilities of the Customer Experience Specialist:

  • Provide day to day world-class customer service to our clients
  • Work alongside and learn from some of the best talent from the tech and insurance industries
  • Be an advocate for customers by helping to identify trends in issues and collaborating on improvements to processes, policies and products
  • Data entry responsibilities, including entering information from your customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken
  • Work alongside other teams to maintain a high level of service

Qualifications for the Customer Experience Specialist:

  • 2 years minimum in a customer experience related position
  • Experience with Mortgage Servicing or Loan Processing a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
  • Experience working with helpdesk tools (i.e., Zendesk)
  • Being meticulous and attentive-to-detail
  • Great writing skills 

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Work Experience equivalent required
