Our client, a pharmaceutical company specializing in patient advocacy is seeking a professional Customer Service Order Entry Clerk to join in their Customer Service team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$40k
Position Overview:
The Customer Service Order Entry Clerk will be responsible for assisting and processing of daily sales orders received electronically. They will assist with reconciling accounts and filling backorders in accordance with each department!
Responsibilities of the Customer Service Order Entry Clerk:
- Complete daily order entry for all sales orders received via fax or email.
- Review customer comments on order-by-order basis to confirm pricing and special shipping instructions.
- Communicate with the Customer Service department, Sales Consultants, Accounting, and Shipping departments to ensure orders are processed in a timely manner.
- Handle backorders with inventory.-Update changes in customer account information and forward documentation to the Accounting department.
- Obtain pre-approval for all credit card orders through credit card processing system prior to release of order. Forward declined orders to customer service representative.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications of the Customer Service Order Entry Clerk:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data entry and/or order entry.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong order entry skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to use Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook).
