Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is looking to bring on a Customer Service Representative to the growing team.

Position Overview:

As the Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for obtaining and understanding EDI requirements, as well as providing excellent customer service to clients. The Customer Service Representative will also be responsible for processing orders and returns, and frequently providing advice and technical assistance.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:

  • Obtain customer information via phone and email
  • Prepare invoices, shipping documents, and contracts
  • Verify customer and order information for correctness and check it against previously obtained information as necessary
  • Enter purchase orders using SAP

Qualifications of the Customer Service Representative:

  • 1 – 2 years of Customer Service experience required
  • Prior experience with SAP and Microsoft Office is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be detail-oriented, well organized, and work independently
  • Working knowledge of EDI is a plus

Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree is a plus
