Customer Service Representative

Our client, a biotechnology company known for their commitment to research and development in the medical sciences, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support their growing Customer Service department. This role is onsite and candidates must be comfortable commuting to Piscataway, NJ, 5 days a week.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$22/hr – $25/hr

Position Overview:

The Customer Service Representative will be assisting clients via phone and email regarding new orders and existing order status.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:

• Complete daily order entry via SAP for all business partner sales orders received via fax or email for orders
• Answer client questions regarding product specifications and capabilities
• Maintain strong product knowledge in order to assist clients in a timely manner
• Research inventory and billing discrepancies
• Handle orders from inception to billing

Qualifications for the Customer Service Representative:

• 3+ years of experience in customer service
• Strong understanding of order processing
• Resolution-driven and willing to go the extra mile to assist clients
• Experience entering orders into a database and comfortable working with multiple systems
• Able to pivot from phone to emails quickly
• Able to work onsite 5 days a week

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
