Our client, a leading company in manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to augment their expanding customer service department. The role is on-site and requires candidates who can comfortably work on location 5 days a week.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$22 – $25/hr

Position Overview:

The Customer Service Representative will assist clients over the phone and through email, addressing queries related to new orders and status updates for existing orders. The Customer Service Representative will also be responsible for updating SAP with order related information.

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:

  • Handling daily order entries for all business partner sales orders received via fax or email using SAP
  • Responding to client questions about product specifications and capabilities
  • Maintaining a strong product knowledge to assist clients promptly
  • Researching and resolving inventory and billing discrepancies
  • Managing orders from inception to delivery

Qualifications for the Customer Service Representative:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in customer service in manufacturing
  • An in-depth understanding of order processing
  • A proactive problem-solver who goes above and beyond to assist clients
  • Experience in entering orders into SAP
  • Ability to switch tasks quickly, from answering phone calls to responding to emails
  • Must be able to work on-site 5 days a week

Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED is required
