Our client, a leading healthcare organization based in Boston is seeking a skilled and experienced Customer Services Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of Customer Service experience, with at least 1 year in customer service, and experience in healthcare or a contact center setting is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required, and bilingual skills are a plus.

Position Overview:

As a Customer Services Representative, you’ll be the voice of the company to their members, providing them with outstanding service and support. As a Customer Services Representative you’ll help members navigate products and services, resolve issues, and educate them on company offerings.

Responsibilities of the Customer Services Representative:

  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective manner
  • Educate customers on company products and services
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and other issues
  • Document all customer interactions in a comprehensive manner
  • Coordinate scheduling for appointments, transportation, and interpretation services
  • Adhere to HIPAA and other regulatory compliance standards

Qualifications for the Customer Services Representative:

  • 1 to 3 years of customer service experience
  • Experience in healthcare or a contact/call center setting preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Education Requirements:

  • Associates degree or post high school training, certification is required
  • Preferred: Associates or bachelor’s degree in health-oriented fields. Experience in health care, the non-profit sector, or the government. Technical accreditation in the health care field like medical assistant, billing and coding is beneficial
