Client Overview:

Our client in the wellness space is seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Customer Support Insurance Associate to join their Customer Experience team! This position is temporary to start and there is an opportunity for permanent placement. The ideal Customer Support Insurance Associate MUST have experience with Benefits and Eligibility within Insurance experience evident on the resume.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr – $23/hr

Position Overview:

The Customer Support Insurance Associate will be assisting clients via email, phone, and chat.  At least one year of experience in a Customer Experience role or a related field is required. The Customer Support Insurance Associate must also have strong communication and problem-solving skills while having the mentality to go above and beyond to provide exceptional service to their clients. The Customer Support Insurance Associate in this role should be mission-driven and express interest in the health and wellness industry. There is an opportunity for growth for this Customer Support Insurance Associate and an opportunity for permanent placement!

Responsibilities of the Customer Support Insurance Associate:

  • Directly interact with clients over the phone, email, and chat
  • Support clients with troubleshooting and billing inquiries
  • Provide exceptional customer experience, and respond to clients with urgency
  • Cross-collaborate across teams internally

Qualifications for the Customer Support Insurance Associate:

  • MUST have experience with Benefits and Eligibility within insurance evident on resume
  • Previous experience in Customer Experience role
  • Zendesk, Salesforce, or other CRM experience is preferred (but not mandatory)
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude and team player mentality

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
