Data Analyst

Our client is one of the world’s largest investment firms headquartered in Boston. They are seeking to hire a Data Analyst to join their team.

Position Overview:

The Data Analyst will be responsible for technical design, implementation, support, and maintenance of processes that contribute to business success and provide important data sourcing and analysis to Investment teams.

Responsibilities of the Data Analyst:

• Sourcing, processing, analyzing, and presenting data for the Investment teams
• Developing BI dashboards for use by teams and other stakeholders
• Utilizing various data-handling technologies such as cloud data stores, data pipelines, and BI tools to enhance team decision-making and enable and inform strategy

Qualifications for the Data Analyst:

• Technology stack is Python, SQL, and (C# and/or R)
• Experience with one or more major cloud platform from a data engineering perspective
• Experience creating reporting visualizations using BI tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
• Experience with databases, data pipelines,  ETL/ELT techniques, and web scraping
• Extra points for working with Airflow, Docker, Pandas, and experience in Finance or investment Management

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or another related technical field
