Our client, one of the world’s leading private multi-asset alternative investment firms is seeking of a Data and Analytics Manager to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$135,000 – $155,000

Position Overview:

As the Data and Analytics Manager you will help design, implement and support data analytics initiatives across private markets business units  and other departments across firm. Also a Data and Analytics Manager help support deal diligence/sourcing efforts involving use of big data/alternative data and data science tools and technology.

Responsibilities of the Data and Analytics Manager:

  • Work with users to understand their data help design / build / support business intelligence dashboards
  • Work with users to collect, validate and document data and reporting needs
  • Help with system selection or design of custom solutions to meet business needs
  • Work with vendors and development teams to design / implement / configure solutions
  • Create documentation in support of business and technology requests (includes business/data requirements, data flows, data modeling, workflow context)

Qualifications for the Data and Analytics Manager:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with investment management, private equity, venture capital, alternatives investment / finance concepts / terminology and systems a plus
  • Prior experience with reporting, data analytics tools like Tableau or Power BI is required
  • Prior experience using Python, R or Scala for data analysis is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity working within cloud native AWS serverless data and integration products
  • Strong understanding of SQL, relational data structures, reporting schemas, data transformations and data lake pattern is required

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
