Our client, a popular and quickly rising not-for-profit company, is seeking an organized and thoughtful Development Assistant to help the company sustain organizational growth. The Development Assistant will work directly with the community through outreach initiatives, track progress and work with a passionate team. The Development Assistant should be creative, well-spoken, and eager to help a growing and passionate brand gain traction.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25/hr

The ideal Development Assistant will be a skilled communicator, have strong networking skills, and the ability to remain organized and proactive. The Development Assistant will work alongside powerful members of the company to continually advance the company.

Responsibilities of the Development Assistant:

  • Initiate volunteer events and outreach programs
  • Track and record marketing trends
  • Present research to teams and continually brainstorm new ways of development
  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Prepare and distribute public relations materials

Qualifications of the Development Assistant:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Self-motivated
  • Passionate about helping the community and a good team player
  • Fundraising skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field is required
