We are seeking a highly motivated Development Financial Analyst to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90k- $100k

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate for the Development Financial Analyst role will have a strong analytical background and experience in financial modeling, market research, and investment analysis. Proficiency in ARGUS is a must. This Development Financial Analyst role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real estate development and investment analysis while working closely with senior executives and Project Managers.

Responsibilities of the Development Financial Analyst: 

  • The Development Financial Analyst will conduct financial modeling and underwriting for potential acquisitions, developments, and dispositions using ARGUS and Excel.
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis to assess investment opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of investment memos, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support due diligence efforts, including reviewing leases, financial statements, and zoning regulations.
  • The Development Financial Analyst will monitor project budgets, timelines, and cash flows to ensure alignment with financial projections.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including brokers, lenders, and consultants.
  • Track key real estate market trends and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

Required Experience/Skills for the Development Financial Analyst: 

  • 1 year of experience in real estate investment, development, or related fields.
  • Strong proficiency in ARGUS (Enterprise and DCF) and financial modeling in Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field is required
