Our client is a non-profit organization that fights to end hunger locally in New Jersey. They are currently seeking a Donor Relations Administrator to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$17/hr – $19/hr DOE

Position Overview:

The Donor Relations Administrator will be responsible for acting as a liaison between the department and donors handling schedules, paperwork, and any inquiries relating to donations.

Responsibilities of the Donor Relations Administrator:

  • Responsible for building relationships by ensuring donor commitments are fulfilled
  • Acting as a liaison with internal departments and external agencies
  • Responsible for providing support with setup of donor appointments
  • Tracking and following up with transportation requests
  • Assisting in scheduling and coordinating the pick-up and delivery processes
  • Creating and maintaining records of daily pickups and deliveries
  • Assisting with food drive preparation
  • Coordinating organization/maintenance of office inventory, storage, and supplies
  • Establishing, maintaining, and updating online and office filing system
  • Taking on other duties regularly associated with office management, including filing, creating memos and reports, and performing other clerical duties while ensuring effective workflow

Qualifications of the Donor Relations Administrator:

  • 2 years of experience in an administrative role (preferably non-profit sector)
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Passion for supporting the mission of the organization
  • Ability to support multiple departments and communicate effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
