Our client is seeking an Engineer out of their Pembroke Pines FL location. This is a temp to hire position and an excellent opportunity to join a stable organization.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$70,000 – $77,000 Based on Experience

Position Overview:

Our client is looking for an Engineer to join an established team. Excellent growth opportunities, work schedule and benefits!

Responsibilities of the Engineer:

  • Responsible for  technical drafting work in the preparation of construction plans, plats, sketches and various graphic materials
  • Completing  complex drafting of an engineering, survey or landscape architectural plans
  • Responsible for including mathematical computations associated with drafting
  • Traveling to job site as needed to compare building permits and drafts to the physical building/landscape
  • Responsible for the engineering work in the design and review of a wide variety of engineering projects and requires application of standard techniques and procedures

Qualifications for the Engineer:

  • Knowledge of Engineering and basic survey
  • Average knowledge in the use of engineering computer aided drafting and design programs
  • Limited knowledge of of engineering;  design and construction of a variety of public works projects and buildings
  • Experience with AutoCAD a plus

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil and/or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum, or equivalent. is required
  • Professional Engineers License or Certified Engineer-In-Training preferred
