Entry – Level Accountant

Our client is looking for an Entry – Level Accountant to join their team in Newark, NJ. This Entry – Level Accountant position will have room for career growth and added responsibilities over time for someone looking to grow within the organization!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$18/hr – $23/hr

Position Overview:

The Entry – Level Accountant will be working alongside the Accounting team and reporting to the Senior Accountant. Those in the Entry – Level Accountant position will be looking to learn and gain experience in a fast-paced work environment, demonstrating they are hardworking, reliable, and trustworthy. Communication is incredibly important when working with this Accounting team. This Entry – Level Accountant position is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate to show off their previous experience and begin their career with a growing company!

Responsibilities of the Entry – Level Accountant:

• A/P and A/R responsibilities
• Prepare and post entries
• Review general ledger accounts
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and projections
• Reconcile statements and maintain an accurate accounts payable schedule

Qualifications of the Entry – Level Accountant:

• 0 – 2 years of experience
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Proficient in Excel
• Time management skills
• Well organized and a multitasker

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is required
