Salary/Hourly Rate:

$52,000-62,000 plus 5% Bonus

Position Overview:

The Entry – Level Accountant will act as the primary assistant to Senior Accountants, handling general accounting tasks such as customer billings, accounts receivables and payables, and financial and management reporting requirements.

Responsibilities of the Entry – Level Accountant:

  • Assist Senior Accountants with quarterly close process, preparation and review of the operating revenue/expense budgets.
  • 404 compliance.
  • Prepare real estate tax I&E forms.
  • Updating fixed assets schedules.
  • Lease tracking responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
  • Assist with accounts receivables and payables.
  • Data entry in JD Edwards software.

Qualifications of the Entry – Level Accountant:

  • 0 – 2 years of related experience to include customer service, Accounts Receivables and Payables and / or general accounting.
  • Be effective at communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Must be an effective team member while exhibiting leadership abilities.
  • Have the ability to multi-task.
  • Be self confident and able to work independently.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
