Entry – Level Accountant

Our client, a reputable multinational food distributor, is hiring for an Entry – Level Accountant. The company has a great work hard play hard mentality and is looking for a new Entry – Level accountant to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$18/hr – $25/hr ($45k – $58k)

Position Overview:

The Entry – Level Accountant will be reporting to the Senior Accountant and the Accounting team. Those in the Entry – Level Accountant Positions will be eager to learn new responsibilities and prepared to demonstrate their accounting skills. Those who acquire these roles must be communicative, hardworking, and reliable. Recent grads & Internships are also encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities of the Entry – Level Accountant:

• A/P and A/R responsibilities
• Collections
• Preparing and posting entries
• Assisting with coordination of financial audits
• Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and projections
• Processing Invoices
• General ledger and reconciliations

Qualifications for the Entry – Level Accountant:

• Experience with QuickBooks & or any ERP (SAP, ADP, and Great Plains). NetSuite a plus
• 0 – 4 years of experience
• Team player
• Analytical
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables & vlookups)
• General Accounting/AR/AP experience is a huge plus

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
