Our client is a healthy foods and drinks company. They are looking for a Facilities Coordinator to support their operations team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
 $23-25 DOE

Position Overview:
 This Facilities Coordinator will sit with the small operations/facilities team and assist with all day to day operations. They will be able to efficiently work smart and swift. They will be tasked with various projects and programs, one being managing the shipping and receiving program. This candidate must be detail-oriented and be able to make decisions definitively on the fly. They can start immediately too!

Responsibilities of the Facilities Coordinator:

  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording the location of inventory
  • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders
  • Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies
  • Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units
  • Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock
  • Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product
  • Documents product shipment by recording units shipped
  • Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Performs ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems
  • Performs facility inspections and report on the condition affecting operations
  • Monitors and supervises HVAC preventive Maintenance contracts
  • Responds to emergencies
  • Orders supplies for the Lab equipment
  • Conducts Safety Training for new hires

Qualifications for the Facilities Coordinator:

  • Minimum 2 years of strict Administrative support – Facilities or Real estate experience preferred
  • Experience with working with facilities and/or vendors
  • Proven to be proactive, thick-skinned, and deadline oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, GSuite – Tech-savvy is a must

Education Requirements:

  • AA Degree required
