Financial Analyst

Our client, is currently seeking to hire a Financial Analyst to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$75,000 – $85,000

Position Overview:

The Financial Analyst will report directly to the Senior Financial Analyst and will also directly work with the Manager, FP&A. The Financial Analyst handles the preparation of the statement of stockholders’ equity, cash flows and specific footnotes to the financial statements, such as securities, earnings per share and summary of accounting pronouncements.

Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst:

• Preparation and input of financial statement results for the company’s SEC and Regulatory Reporting requirements as well as board packages
• Supervise and direct the preparation of month end schedules for management review such as balance sheet, income statement, monthly yield calculations and key performance metrics
• Assist in ad hoc financial reporting disclosure meetings for senior management
• Maintain quarterly and annual binders for the company’s SEC and Regulatory Reporting requirements
• Coordination and assistance on year end audit requests in connection with the external audit

Qualifications for the Financial Analyst:

• General ledger and reporting package experience helpful
• 3 to 5 years of Financial Analyst experience
• Budgeting and forecasting experience
• Accounting research savvy with strong knowledge of GAAP rules and regulations, as well as the financial statement close process; experience should include consolidations and financial statement preparation
• Knowledge of and experience with policies, procedures and systems of internal control
• Ability to deliver high quality results
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting is required
