Our client, an established fashion company, is seeking a Freelance Order Entry Associate to join their team. The company offers a wide range of high-quality products across various categories. The men’s, women’s, and accessories lines are sold in high-end department stores, e-commerce, and specialty stores nationwide.

Position Overview:

For the Freelance Order Entry Associate, our client is looking for someone to support the Buying, Merchandising, and E-commerce teams. The Freelance Order Entry Associate requires strong advanced Excel skills, strong organization, aptitude to pick up on new systems, and the ability to be a team player.

Responsibilities of the Freelance Order Entry Associate:

  • Responsible for all data and PO entry
  • Enter a heavy workload of orders in system daily
  • Prepare daily sales reports
  • Notify the Production and Customer Service teams daily of any special orders
  • Execute site refreshes on time and without errors to ensure product launches in a timely fashion
  • Collaborate with e-commerce buyers to fully understand assortment, deliveries, merchandising strategy, and pre-order/back-order requirements
  • Maintain operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes

Qualifications of the Freelance Order Entry Associate:

  • Must have strong advanced Excel skills, specifically knowledge of vlookups and pivot tables
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Must have a great attitude and a strong passion for fashion and love to work in fast paced environment
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Extremely high attention to detail
  • Eager to take on new challenges and introduce and implement new approaches and ideas
  • 0 – 1 year experience within fashion, preferably for a fashion-related company
  • Candidates who have fashion internships are welcome
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
