Currently, they are looking to add a Freelance Product Development Coordinator to join their team.

Position Overview:
The Freelance Product Development Coordinator will support the end-to-end development process, working closely with cross-functional teams including Design, Production, Merchandising, and external vendors. This role is ideal for someone highly organized and detail-oriented, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about bringing great products to life.
Responsibilities of the Freelance Product Development Coordinator:
- Assist in managing the product lifecycle from concept to final sample approval.
- Track development timelines and ensure all milestones are met.
- Communicate daily with domestic and international vendors on samples, materials, and timelines.
- Create and maintain accurate tech packs, BOMs, and line sheets.
- Organize and track incoming samples and prototypes.
- Support fitting sessions, take notes, and communicate feedback to vendors.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product specs meet cost and quality goals.
- Maintain product development databases and documentation.
Required Experience/Skills for the Freelance Product Development Coordinator:
- 1 – 2 years of experience in product development or production coordination.
- Strong understanding of the product development process.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and solutions-focused mindset.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Freelance Product Development Coordinator:
- Experience working with overseas vendors or factories.
- Familiarity with PLM systems (e.g., Centric, BlueCherry).
- Knowledge of fabrications, trims, and construction.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, Merchandising, or a related field is required.
