Our client is a well-known rapidly growing company looking to hire a Front Desk Receptionist to assist with the expansion of the offices.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$16/hr
Position Overview:
The Front Desk Receptionist should be comfortable with being the main point of contact to all guests that come in. This is a contract role with the potential to become permanent as our client does have room for growth as the current office manager started as the Front Desk Receptionist. The office is a fast-paced, “work hard, play hard” start-up and is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist that has a “can-do, will-do” attitude to hit the ground running. This role is great for someone who likes to wear multiple hats and is never bored!
Responsibilities of the Front Desk Receptionist:
- Greeting all guests with a friendly face
- Directing all calls that come into the main line, screening calls for CFO and office manager, and acting as a “gate keeper”
- Organizing and coordinating some internal appointments for the Office Manager
- Acting as the main point of contact for any deliveries and vendors
- Distributing supplies and food (fresh direct) in the kitchen
- Tracking and maintaining office supplies through Excel spread sheet
Qualifications of the Front Desk Receptionist:
- Should have one year in a corporate administrative role (paid internship works as well)
- 0 – 4 years experience in the work force in general
- Must have experience with Microsoft Outlook or Google calendar and basic knowledge of Excel
- Must have excellent verbal and written skills
- Demonstrate organizational skills & coordination skills to handle multiple simultaneous priorities
- High energy, great attitude, and motivation to succeed
- Flexible personality in order to adjust to ever changing business needs
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred not required
