Fulfillment Manager

Our client is a full-service manufacturer and distributor of household amenities currently seeking a Fulfillment Manager to join their team. With locations across the US, our client works strategically with retailers, startups, and established businesses to provide E-Commerce, wholesale fulfillment, distribution, and transportation services with the backing of modern technology and their unique, boutique-like service level.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90k – $105k + 10% Bonus

Position Overview:

A successful Fulfilment Manager will work day-to-day with the Operations team to ensure that all aspects of the operations from maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction to sustaining operational standards on a daily basis are being met. The manager will also spearhead initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency utilizing cost effective methods while taking part in formulating short- and long-term strategies and operational objectives. This is an immersive position that will allow you to maximize, challenge, and enhance your leadership skills through problem-solving and analyzing operational, systematic, financial, legal, and human-related issues contributing towards the growth and vision of the company.

Responsibilities of the Fulfillment Manager:

• Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, timely, and cost-effective way
• Maintain constant communication between management, staff, customers, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization
• Actively formulate and initiate strategic and operational objectives
• Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity, effectiveness, and efficiency
• Lead, motivate, and support the Operations team, Warehouse Manager, and Warehouse Associates within a time and customer-sensitive environment
• Work closely with the in-house Development team to inspire and implement system ideas
• Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company
• Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable

Qualifications of the Fulfillment Manager:

• Experience in management, operations, and leadership
• Understanding of general finance and accounting
• Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of operations and customer service
• Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or related fields
