Our client, a well-known public accounting firm is looking to add a Full Charge Bookkeeper to their team. This is an incredible opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper professional to join a collaborative department in an important role. The Full Charge Bookkeeper must be technically strong, team-oriented, and have a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$50k – $60k

Position Overview:

The Full Charge Bookkeeper will join a dynamic Accounting department, reporting directly to the partners of the firm.  The ideal candidate will assist with all aspects of the client’s financials including accruals, general accounting, and financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities of the Full Charge Bookkeeper:

  • Partner closely with various clients and perform daily accounting functions
  • Assist with accounts receivable and payable inquiries
  • Responsible for preparing monthly financial statements and reports
  • Review and prepare reconciliations and journal entries for various accounts
  • Responsible for reviewing the general ledger and accounts for accuracy
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly payroll, as well as quarterly/annual payroll tax returns

Qualifications for the Full Charge Bookkeeper:

  • Excel skills
  • QuickBooks Experience is a plus but not required
  • Maintain professional appearance and manner to represent the brand

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
