FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR

Our client is a nonprofit in San Francisco, whose mission is to end hunger in the Bay Area! They are seeking a Fundraising Coordinator to join their exciting team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$19-$20 per hour

Position Overview:

This Fundraising Coordinator will assist with the day-to-day functions of the Development Operations team. This individual will assist with the annual fund coordination and additional projects as needed. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external entities. This role is a temporary contract position with a 40-hours per week schedule. This Fundraising Coordinator will have experience in the nonprofit sector and must have knowledge of the platform Raiser’s Edge.

Responsibilities of the Fundraising Coordinator:

  • Assemble and maintain welcome packets
  • Process returned mail: update donor preferences and deceased records in the primary donor database
  • Verify and submit matching gift requests
  • Update and create new records in the donor database, Raiser’s Edge
  • Generate and send tribute and memorial cards
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Comfortable working remotely

Qualifications for the Fundraising Coordinator:

  • Two to three years’ experience in nonprofit, development, or related field
  • General understanding of fundraising standards and has Raiser’s Edge experience
  • High attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Raiser’s Edge

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
