Our client is one of Pittsburgh’s most well-known and well respected organizations that puts employees first. They are currently seeking a Help Desk Analyst to join their team.

Position Overview:

The Help Desk Analyst will perform Tier-1 level support via phone for the organization’s internal and external teams nationwide. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone seeking to find their first career in the IT space. This role is remote, however, candidates must be located within the Greater Pittsburgh area to report in office.

Responsibilities of the Help Desk Analyst:

  • Work with individuals via phone to help troubleshoot issues to the best of your ability prior to escalating
  • Calmly handle inquires from internal and external teams
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with hardware using Windows, Mac, or iOS
  • Reset passwords via Active Directory
  • Escalate bigger issues to Tier-2 and above support as needed
  • Other duties as needed

Qualifications of the Help Desk Analyst:

  • Basic knowledge of Windows, Mac and iOS. Experience with Active Directory is a plus
  • Exceptional customer service skills- Ability to think quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Previous retail experience and technical experience is a plus
  • Previous Help Desk experience is a plus

Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree with a technical focus is preferred
