We currently have multiple openings for HR Account Coordinators in our Jersey City, NJ location as well as in Little Falls and Holmdel.

Salary/Hourly Rate: DOE

Position Overview:  An excellent entry-level HR opportunity, the HR Account Coordinator is a position that requires time management, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.  An eligible candidate must be a self-starter able to work independently and perform tasks week over week to process payroll in a timely manner. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required, and a patient, positive, friendly attitude is a must, as this role requires constant interfacing with Associates. The HR Account Coordinator will be primarily supporting a high-volume client in the event industry and will gain exposure to various components of human resources, employee relations, benefits, payroll, staffing and compliance.  The Account Coordinator will join a dedicated team reporting to the Director of Client Relations.

Responsibilities of the HR Account Coordinator:

  • Provide associates with onboarding materials and instructions executing efficient processes
  • Provide personalized service maintaining positive working relationships through phone and e-mail contact and exceed expectations of team, associates, client and management
  • Review onboarding paperwork for accuracy and completeness
  • Enter all new hire associate paperwork (I-9s, W-4s, confidentiality agreements, etc.) into Atrium’s systems 
  • Adhere to state-specific payroll laws and pursue continuous education to ensure compliance
  • Maintain Excel and Google spreadsheets to organize data as necessary
  • Contact associates daily via phone and e-mail to ensure payrolling program clarity
  • Execute daily follow-ups
  • Shadow the team and division leadership to learn division nuances, account management techniques and program development
  • Facilitate pre-employment screening according to Client requirements, as needed
  • Manage all associate inquiries during onboarding
  • Troubleshoot associate escalations with the assistance of team leadership and/or Director of Client Relations
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications for the HR Account Coordinator:

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 1+ years of office experience in an administrative or customer service role
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
