Our client, a pharmaceutical company known for their commitment to research and development in the medical sciences, is seeking an HR Assistant to support their quickly growing department.

Position Overview:

The HR Assistant will be responsible for assisting with new-hire onboarding, processing background checks, managing benefit enrollments, and auditing employee files.

Responsibilities of the HR Assistant:

  • Create offer letters and work with Hiring Managers to schedule new-hire orientation
  • Enter employment data into HRIS system
  • Support HR Supervisors with benefits enrollments, terminations, and changes
  • Assist with various clerical duties such as mailing and filing
  • Work on projects as needed by HR Supervisors

Qualifications of the HR Assistant:

  • 1 – 2 years of experience in HR
  • Experience using HRIS systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree is required
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
