Our client is seeking an HR Assistant to join their People and Engagement team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$20/hr

Position Overview:

The HR Assistant will support the HR Manager with administrative tasks related to job postings, new-hire paperwork, policies, and procedures for existing employees, and help plan internal events companywide. The HR Coordinator may be asked to assist with recruiting efforts as needed.

Responsibilities of the HR Assistant:

  • Perform administrative work including scheduling, maintaining files, and sorting mail
  • Enter employment data into HRIS
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition team with the hiring process, including submitting job postings online and scheduling candidate interviews
  • Coordinate logistics for new-hire orientations and employee trainings
  • Perform reference checks, conducting exit interviews, and handling employee inquiries

Qualifications of the HR Assistant:

  • 1 – 3 years of HR experience
  • Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Previous experience with ATS or HRIS programs
  • Ability to manage confidential information and handle private employee-related matters
  • Previous experience with writing job postings, sourcing candidates, or high-volume recruitment a plus

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR
