Our client is currently seeking a self-motivated HR Assistant to help provide support to the HR Manager and assist with day to day responsibilities in the entire HR department. This position will start out on a part-time/3 days a week schedule and move into something full-time as the candidate gets more comfortable in the role.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the hiring process, scheduling orientations and trainings and working closely with databases. The HR Assistant will also be handling unemployment claims, as well as working in ADP.

Responsibilities of the HR Assistant:

  • Perform administrative work, including scheduling, maintaining files and sorting mail
  • Enter employment data into computer database
  • Assist HR supervisors with the hiring process, including submitting job postings online and scheduling candidate interviews
  • Coordinate logistics for new hire orientations and employee trainings
  • Assist with the overall hiring process by identifying candidates and performing reference checks

Qualifications for the HR Assistant:

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Experience with ADP is required Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter or ADP Workforce Now is preferred

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
