Our client seeking a seasoned HR Generalist to join their HR team. 

Salary/Hourly Rate: $70k 

Position Overview: The HR Generalist will a true team player with a well-rounded background within Human Resources. Knowledge of HR policies and the ability to work well within a team environment is a must! Hands on experience in recruitment, benefits administration, employee relations and performance management is required. Additionally any exposure to payroll processing is desired. The ideal candidate will have exposure working within an organization of 500+ employees and has been part of a successful Human Resources team. 


  • Functions as an HR resource for all employee inquires 
  • Works with HR Manager to mitigate employee relations issues including employee complaints, discrimination and harassment claims
  • Reviews and recommends policy and procedure updates in compliance with federal and state employment regulations
  • Supports Recruiting Function by screening and interviewing applicants and ensuring positive candidate experience
  • Administers various employee benefits programs including group medical/vision, dental, life and supplemental insurances 
  • Verifies the calculation and processing of monthly invoicing for insurance programs
  • Administers short and long term disability claims in compliance with federal and state law
  • Conducts new employee orientations and staff trainings as needed


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 5-7 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity; Certification preferred (PHR, SHRM-CP)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to travel locally and domestically
  • Intermediate level of: clerical/administrative skills, computer/technical skills, project/process management skills
  • Advanced level of: analytical, written and oral communications skills
