Our client, a well known and industry leading client services firm is seeking a well rounded and experienced HR Generalist to join their growing HR team. As one of Forbes top companies consistently named to work for, this fast-growing and innovative company is proud of their innovate reputation.

Position Overview:
This company is seeking a well-rounded HR Generalist who is passionate for human resources, people operations and someone who has a proven track record implementing and researching best HR practices to stay competitive with the NYC market. With an already established HR team, this position is newly created due to growth and this person will serve as the main point of contact for the NYC staff of 500+. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in human resources, with a well rounded perspective in employee relations, talent management, leadership and development, training, and more. As such an innovative company, the HR Generalist will serve as a true HRBP to senior leadership in addition to coaching and training managers. This is a full-time position.  

Responsibilities of the HR Generalist:

  • Handle all aspects of HR for the NYC office, including employee relations, learning and development, training, talent management and more
  • Must be hands on during the onboarding process for new hires, benefits administration and will be responsible for terminations and performance management related scenarios
  • Keep up with best HR practices to maintain a positive employee culture and maintain headcount
  • Develop and lead implementation of policies and procedures

Qualifications for the HR Generalist:

  • The ideal HR Generalist will be a strategic thinker
  • Must have a minimum of 8-10 years of HR experience (a true well-rounded HR generalist or HRBP background is ideal)
  • HR experience out of professional/client services: Finance is highly preferred
  • The HR Generalist must have experience supporting a minimum employee population of 200 with the listed responsibilities
  • Ability to handle and work with all different personalities
  • Experience with HRIS / ATS systems
  • Passionate for human resources
