The role will be remote to start – expected to be onsite in a limited capacity upon opening of new office space
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$50 – $75K (dependent on experience)
Position Overview:
This newly created subsidiary of a global investment management firm is seeking an HR Generalist to join their dynamic team. The HR Generalist position will report to the VP of HR and work on a team of 2. The ideal candidate will be a flexible, roll up your sleeves team player who will address both employee relations and technical-related HR matters.
Responsibilities:
- HR Generalist will assist VP of HR in all work and Human Resources related matters for the company
- Serve as first point of contact for employees based in Latin America (Brazil, Mexico, Peru) as well as U.S. employees
- Responsible for on-boarding and off-boarding for both the US and Latin American populations
- Assist in mid-year and annual review evaluations for all employee groups
- Assist in facilitating recruitment for locations of high attrition (customer service departments, primarily)
- Develop and maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors; recruiters, advisors and service providers
- Provide ongoing efforts to improve and initiate control processes for new and existing workflows
- Strive to ensure all HRIS data is accurate, data protection compliant and updated
- HR Generalist will assist VP of HR with all reporting required for year-end financials and reports
- Help improve process flow scalability as the business evolves and expands into other geographic marketplaces
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of HR experience
- Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish and English is highly preferred
- Experience in Data Protection Laws is a plus, but not a must
- Strong MS Excel knowledge (pivot tables, V/H lookups, formulas, etc.)
- HRIS System experience is preferred, ideally ADP WorkForce Now
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting environment interchangeable
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required for this position
- A Master’s Degree is highly preferred, but not required
