Our client is looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join their company.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$19/hr – $20/hr DOE

Position Overview:

As a Human Resources Assistant, you will be a vital member of the team. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will work with the Human Resources team on general HR operations, HR projects, and HR-related paperwork.

Responsibilities of the Human Resources Assistant:

  • Assists with human resources projects as needed
  • Creates daily/weekly reports as directed
  • Provides general support to the Operations team as needed
  • Supports all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests
  • Supports human resources processes by administering tests, scheduling appointments, conducting orientation, and maintaining records and information
  • Submits employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data
  • Maintains employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data
  • Provides secretarial support by entering, formatting, and printing information
  • Answers the telephone, relays messages, and maintains equipment and supplies
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential

Qualifications of the Human Resources Assistant:

  • 1 – 2 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Strong Excel and general analytical skills
  • Experience with Office 365Effective
  • HR administration and people-management skills
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
