Our client is looking for a friendly Human Resources Assistant to join the team. The Human Resources Assistant will work closely with the Human Resources department to support employment processes and assist with employee relations/administering paperwork. This position is running on a temporary basis.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$18/hr – $25/hr DOE

Position Overview:

The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for supporting the new hire process, coordinating HR related paperwork and documents, and assisting with onboarding new employees.

Responsibilities of the Human Resources Assistant:

  • Help with sourcing and screening candidates from various job boards such as Indeed
  • Assist with preparing and distributing new-hire paperwork including I-9 verifications and W-4 forms
  • Coordinate drug tests and assist employees with any forms
  • Work closely with the Hiring Manager, scheduling interviews and communicating with potential candidates via phone
  • Develop outreach messages, coordinate communications through email, and prepare offer letters

Qualifications of the Human Resources Assistant:

  • 2+ years in Human Resources-related role
  • Experience using HRIS systems such as Workday, Kronos, or Oracle
  • Ability to navigate an ATS system
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or Business Administration is preferred
