Position Overview:

The HR Coordinator will work normal business hours of 8:30AM–5:00PM, Monday to Friday.  The Human Resources Coordinator is a support position responsible for partnering with other members of the HR team to support the department with all functions of HR, including but not limited to, Recruiting, HR data entry and support, Benefits Administration, and Compliance.

Responsibilities of the HR Administrative Assistant:

  • HCM: Ceridian Dayforce – payroll, onboarding, record keeping, performance management, administrative
  • Responsible for handling data with confidentiality
  • Provides administrative support to the Human Resources team, including Benefits, Payroll, Employee Relations, and Recruiting
  • Completes data entry and transactional processes on multiple platforms, including Ceridian Dayforce; handles data with confidentiality
  • Maintains records of personnel-related data in the paper, electronically, and in our HR system; ensures all employment requirements are met
  • Supports recruiting function by performing pre-employment background checks, employment verifications, and I-9 verifications through HireRight provider
  • Supports the successful on-boarding of new associates, ensuring all necessary documents are received and new hire records are updated in a timely manner
  • Responds to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provides assistance in a timely manner
  • Approves and processes reimbursements for tuition reimbursement, AARP, AAA, and other programs/items
  • Coordinates the approvals for the internal Professional Development Program and associated reimbursements

Qualifications for the HR Administrative Assistant:

  • 1+ years of support and administrative experience
  • HR work experience is highly preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience and knowledge of the field
