Our client, a medium sized professional services company located in the heart of Boston, MA. With years of experience in the industry they are looking for an extremely polished and accomplished Human Resources Generalist to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of the Human Resources field in a fast paced, professional environment.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$110,000 – $155,000 + bonus eligibility
Position Overview:
The Human Resources Generalist will be instrumental in managing all aspects of the Talent Acquisition and Employment process. The Human Resources Generalist will act as an industry expert on current compensation, benefits, and employee engagement trends and will also act as an advisor to the company for general compliance and develop new DEI strategies.
Responsibilities of the Human Resources Generalist:
- Develop and oversee the talent acquisition for the company which includes actively recruiting new candidates and working with hiring managers to manage the hiring process
- Develop and implement a new total rewards strategy for the company which includes updating current compensation and benefits plans aimed at attracting and retaining talent
- Conduct performance reviews and liaise with managers to draft performance review plans, and coach employees to improve work performance
- Oversee internal payrolling, ensure that important Human Resources information is relayed, and provide direct oversight to the office support staff
- Serve as a point of contact for all HR matters and instruct employees on any questions they may have
- Ensure that the company is operating within federal and state regulations
- Implement and oversee the DEI incentives and programs for the company
- Develop Professional Development Strategies including professional workshops, Mentorship opportunities, and companywide learning events
Qualifications for the Human Resources Generalist:
- 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Experience implementing new total rewards strategies, DEI programs, and professional development strategies
- Experience managing all areas of the Talent Acquisition process for a large professional services company
- Experience overseeing office staff, payroll, and general compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
