Human Resources Generalist

Our client is in the food manufacturing industry and they are seeking an Human Resources Generalist to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$30/hr

Position Overview:

The Human Resources Generalist provides support to the HR department, working closely with employees and the leadership team.

Responsibilities of the Human Resources Generalist:

• Assist Human Resources Department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees
• Provide outstanding customer service by responding to employee requests and questions and give prompt delivery of information for issues in need of escalation
• Complete check sorting, distribution and attach applicable payroll stuffers, when applicable
• Conduct audits for various payroll, benefits or other HR programs
• Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation and assist with on-boarding process
• Prepares new employee files
• Assist Plant and Process Managers in managing time off requests for hourly employees by coordinating yearly distribution of PPT requests, logging approved time off requests, placing vacation calendar on bulletin boards and updating such on weekly basis or as needed
• Assist with employee relations investigates

Qualifications for the Human Resources Generalist:

• Spanish Speaking
• Along with 1+ years of experience

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is required
