Our client is a global pharmaceutical company located in Sommerville, NJ. They are looking to add an Information Security Manager (Cyber Security Services) to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$140k – $150k plus bonus

Position Overview:

This Information Security Manager (Cyber Security Services) is a leadership position that would manage a team of 2 Info Sec Analysts. This is perfect role for someone that is in a senior role that is looking to make the jump to a Manager role. This person will be a critical member of the IT Security leadership team and focus on Cyber Security services for the IT organization’s technical activities to select and implement operational security infrastructure, outsourced security services, project leadership, and to provide regular status and service-level reports on projects to management.

Responsibilities of the Information Security Manager (Cyber Security Services):

  • Work to continuously to improve the global security program and security projects that address identified risks and business security requirements.
  • Work as a liaison with cybersecurity and IT vendors and the Legal and Purchasing departments to establish mutually acceptable contracts and service-level agreements.
  • Partner with IT and security staff to ensure that security is factored into the evaluation, selection, installation, and configuration of hardware, applications, and other information system components.
  • Coordinate, measure, and report on the technical aspects of the security project management.

Qualifications of the Information Security Manager (Cyber Security Services):

  • 5 years or more of hands-on experience within the information security field.
  • Some management experience in an information security role managing direct report analysts and/or engineers.
  • 3 years or more prior experience with information security framework such as ISO 27000 or NIST CSF CISM, CISSP, or other relevant industry certification is preferred.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline
