Inventory Specialist

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$70,000 – $85,000

Position Overview:

The Inventory Specialist will take full cycle ownership of all key functions related to inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and proper booking. The Inventory Specialist will document inventory and research discrepancies to identify root causes and advise necessary teams on corrective actions.

Responsibilities of the Inventory Specialist:

• Work with daily outbound storage product ordered through inventory software
• Work with 3PL team members to put materials in the proper location; record location, enter data, track
• Assist with reorganization of warehouse when lots change
• Dashboard KPI development and monitoring
• Ensure accurate and concise representation of product in inventory platforms
• Oversee the cycle count program in the facility

Qualifications for the Inventory Specialist:

• 3 to 5 years of distribution, warehouse and inventory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High volume SKU count environment experience preferred
• SOP development and process improvement experience
• Analytic/problem solving skills
• Daily Excel data pulls
• KPI management, updating, and reporting
• Experience working with 3PL team to maintain inventory control processes
• SAP experience is preferred
• PowerBI experience is a plus
