Our client is a globally recognized law firm with corporate headquarters in NYC. They are seeking to hire an IT Security Analyst to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$125k Annually with full benefits

Position Overview:

This IT Security Analyst will be working with a small team to assist in vulnerability scanning, monitoring and assessing, policy and technology updates, and assessing client security. This IT Security Analyst professional will excel at working with other security engineers to drive new information security practices and continuously improve the firm’s security strategy.

Responsibilities of the IT Security Analyst:

  • Investigating new security solutions and enhancements to strengthen the security posture at the firm
  • Monitoring and assessment of current systems and providing analysis of security events and incidents
  • Articulating security findings in written and oral fashion clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Helping plan security reviews and audits within the firm and for our clients
  • Performing activities such as patching and updating to ensure security control effectiveness
  • Conducting informational risk identification and remediation in a cloud environment (Azure and M365)

Qualifications of the IT Security Analyst:

  • 3 – 5 years of experience with Information Security in a corporate environment, with special consideration for those coming from a professional services background
  • Experience with the implementation, configuration, and management/monitoring of information security systems
  • Good knowledge of information security frameworks
  • Preference for those with Information Security certifications
  • Experience with Fortinet/Fortigate and MSSP is preferred

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required
