Our client, a well-known and respected IT support provider serving business clients in NYC is seeking a IT Support Technician to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25 – $28/hr

Position Overview:

This longtime provider of white-glove IT support services to the business community in NYC is looking for a Level 1 IT Support Technician to supplement their staff of highly skilled and experienced IT professionals. This IT Support Technician respond to Level 1 IT support requests, both remote from the company office as well as onsite deskside support to clients in the Manhattan area.

Responsibilities of the IT Support Technician:

  • Act as point of contact for clients
  • Work with various ticketing systems
  • Basic troubleshooting of hardware, software and networks
  • Conducting software updates
  • Onboarding/Offboarding of employees
  • Move/Add/Change
  • Escalating troubleshooting requests
  • Provide excellent customer service in a white-glove environment

Qualifications for the IT Support Technician:

  • 6 months+ of hands on IT experience in a corporate environment
  • Extremely strong customer service skills and ability to communicate
  • IT certifications like A+, Network + or MCSP are highly desirable
  • Ability to travel to worksites using public transportation

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT is preferred but is not required
