Our client, a mid-sized law firm with a presence in New York City is seeking an IT Support Technician to join their team!
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$65,000 – $75,000, depending on experience
Position Overview:
This IT Support Technician will work with the technology team throughout the firm’s offices, and be the main support person in the New York City office.
Responsibilities of the IT Support Technician:
- Provide desk side, phone, and chat support to the firm’s employees in New York City with exceptional customer service
- Communicate with the end user to recognize the issue until resolved
- Escalate issues as needed
- Manage support tickets
- Document requests and resolutions
- Perform entry level systems administration
- Participate in the firm’s tech initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications for the IT Support Technician:
- 3+ years of help desk/tech. support experience; previous law firm experience is a plus
- Previous support experience troubleshooting Windows OS, Mac OS, iOS, Android and their applications
- Previous ticketing system knowledge and Active Directory knowledge
- Previous hardware support experience with laptops, desktops, projectors, TV’s, phones, and other devices
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to troubleshoot technology issues vis desk side, phone, and chat support
- Strong organization and communication skills
- The desire to lean and grow both personally and professionally
Education Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology or a similar field is required
