Our client is a well established hospitality company looking to add an IT Systems Manager to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$100k – $110k

Position Overview:

This hands-on IT Systems Manager will be responsible for planning and coordinating all Windows-based computer-related activities and help determine the information technology goals for the company. You will analyze the company’s computer needs and recommend possible upgrades for top executives to review. You will plan and direct the installation and maintenance of computer hardware and software systems and ensure network and electronic documents are safe and secure as well as implement new software programs and computer technologies. This is a Microsoft-based Windows and Azure AD environment.

Responsibilities of the IT Systems Manager:

  • Managing the IT budget for systems and prioritizing funds based on primary department goals
  • Maintaining collaborative relationships with other department heads to determine their technology needs
  • Delegating repair and installation requests to the Junior System Administrator
  • Providing regular status updates to stakeholders including department heads and leadership team
  • Creating and monitoring schedules to determine when to update company computer systems and cybersecurity measures
  • Researching new business technologies and IT software to strengthen the organization’s computer systems
  • Drafting informational documents to help company employees troubleshoot standard computer problems and navigate new programs
  • Assisting IT employees with complex installations or repairs
  • Implementing new software programs and computer technologies that support organizational goals and objectives
  • Mentoring and coaching junior-level staff

Qualifications for the IT Systems Manager:

  • 5 plus years working in a IT Systems/Network Administrator role with some leadership skills
  • Must be able to manage IT projects, budgets, and work with vendors
  • Experience with Windows OS, MS Office 365, Azure AD, Networking devices etc.
  • Certifications in Microsoft and ITIL & CompTIA is a plus
