Junior Accountant

Our client, a well-known Consumer Goods Brand, is currently looking for an Junior Accountant to join their growing team! In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Manager of Accounting.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$24 – $26/hr

Position Overview:

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with accounting, administrative and bookkeeping functions for the accounting and finance team. To be successful in this Junior Accountant position, candidates should be familiar with Excel and have excellent communications skills.

Responsibilities of the Junior Accountant:

• Assist in Month End Close procedures
• Assist with Budgets and Financial Statements
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and requirements
• Compiling and reviewing financial information
• Assist with Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Payroll Processing
• Perform Ad-Hoc duties as requested
• Provide general support to the accounting and finance team

Qualifications of the Junior Accountant:

• 1 to 3 years of experience Internship experience included
• Experience with Accounting software such as NetSuite or SAP a plus, but not required
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field is required
