Salary/Rate:
$17 – $20 per hour | $38K – $45K annually

Position Overview:
Our clients want their Junior Administrative Assistants to bring a positive and passionate attitude into the office each day. The ideal Junior Administrative Assistant would be someone who can remain focused, organized, energetic and friendly, while working in a fast-paced and creative environment. For these Junior Administrative Assistant roles, we are looking for high-levels of customer service and hospitality skills.

Responsibilities of the Junior Administrative Assistant: 

  • Answering, screening and directing telephone calls
  • Responding to customer inquiries
  • Developing and maintaining a high level of product and company knowledge
  • Managing multiple calendars and schedules
  • Monitoring and maintaining office supplies
  • Receiving and sorting mail and deliveries
  • Coordinating/assisting during client or company events
  • Completing data entry
  • Managing expense reports

Qualifications for the Junior Administrative Assistant:

  • Must be familiar with administrative and clerical procedures
  • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be comfortable speaking with people over the phone and in person
  • Must be a team player, yet contain strong leadership skills
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a customer service capacity
  • Can-do attitude, motivated to succeed and passionate about helping others
  • Ability to multi-task, good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret verbal and written instructions
  • Experience working with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Google Docs

Education Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
