Junior Allocator (Freelance)

Our client, a leading fashion company based in New York City is seeking a Junior Allocator to join their team!

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25 – $28/hr Dependent on experience

Position Overview:

The Junior Allocator will be responsible for managing and maintaining inventory levels for assigned categories, ensuring that products are allocated to stores in a timely and efficient manner. The Junior Allocator communicates with stores to understand their needs and adjust allocations accordingly.

Responsibilities of the Junior Allocator:

• Monitor inventory levels and sales data for assigned categories
• Analyze sales trends and adjust allocations accordingly
• Collaborate with buying and planning teams to ensure alignment on inventory plans
• Identify and recommend opportunities to improve inventory management processes
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications for the Junior Allocator:

• 1 to 2 years of experience in inventory management, planning or allocation in the fashion industry
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Must be able to work collaboratively as part of a team

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion, or a related field is required
