Our client is an insurance company based in New Jersey and is looking for a Junior Compliance Analyst to join their Accounting team. This company is rapidly growing and looking for an individual who is motivated and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$25/hr – $30/hr

Position Overview:

The Junior Compliance Analyst will be responsible for the financial processing of transactions for the organization. This role will require an individual to be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment to ensure accurate, complete, and timely recording of processing invoices at a high volume. The Junior Compliance Analyst will also have the duties in daily bookkeeping and record keeping, financial reporting, and the preparation of tax records for financial audit.

Responsibilities of the Junior Compliance Analyst:

  • Day-to-day compliance risk management
  • Ensure compliance risks are appropriately identified, measured, reported, and managed
  • Review regulatory compliance risk assessments
  • Ensure documentation, records, and reports are maintained
  • Perform analysis of products and transactions

Qualifications of the Junior Compliance Analyst:

  • 1 – 3 years of experience in accounting or finance is required
  • Strong math and critical thinking skills are required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong computer skills utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite with a heavy emphasis on Excel
  • Must have the ability to multi-task

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience
