Our client in the credit insurance industry needs a Junior Financial Planner & Analyst to support the development and oversight of the planning and analytical processes. Our client is looking for a motivated Junior Financial Planner & Analyst who strives in a fast-past environment and can work in a team to deliver the best and most efficient results for their company.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$24/hr – $27/hr

Position Overview:

The job is contract position that the Junior Financial Planner & Analyst will provide heavy analysis, planning, and forecasting capabilities for management. The Junior Financial Planner & Analyst will also lead the completion of the annual business plan, quarterly reforecast, and coordinate quarterly sales forecast with commercial.

Responsibilities of the Junior Financial Planner & Analyst:

  • Preparation of revenue and expense budgets
  • Assist with forecasts and financial reporting for monthly/quarterly/annual
  • Prepare clear and concise variance explanations
  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute monthly expense reports
  • Create new methods of modeling, forecasting, and planning on an ad-hoc basis

Qualifications for the Junior Financial Planner & Analyst:

  • 1 – 3 years of relevant experience Advanced in Excel
  • Strong knowledge of financial consolidations, reporting, and month-end close
  • Detail orientation
  • Hyperion and Oracle experience is a plus

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
